Designer Dreams

It all started when...

I was in elementary school. It was my first week of second grade. The teacher asked us what we wanted to be when we grew up. My initial thought was "holy shit, how am I supposed to know, I'm only 7" and then remembered, "wait, I don't know swears yet". Following a fairly advance internal monologue for my age, I told the class I wanted to be an "artist". At the time, I associated this profession with painting (primarily that of the finger). From then on, I became the 'art kid' always looking forward to Wednesday with Ms. Arena.

Fast-forward to freshman year of high school, where I once again was confronted by my favorite life-question:

"What do you want to be when you grow up?"

More mature than my younger self, I thought "holy shit, how am I supposed to know, I'm only 15?" but I decided to stick my gut and go for Art kid 2.0, this time with a focus on photography.
